Sharing a vault in Enpass Business
Enpass Business vaults can be shared between team members and organizational groups from within the Enpass app.
The first vault created in your own Enpass app is your Primary Vault, which is a private vault and cannot be shared.
Sharing can be managed only from Enpass desktop app, not from an Enpass mobile app.
To share a Business vault via Enpass:
- Go to Enpass > Setting > Vaults and select the vault to be shared.
- In Vault Settings, click the Share button
or click ⋮ and select Share Vault.
- In the Share Vault screen, start entering a name or email address.
- From the list of suggested names, select the person you’re inviting to share your vault.
- Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for any additional invitees who will be granted the same access permissions.
- Select the access permissions for the new vault members.
- Click Share.
- The invitees will receive an email with a personalized link that will launch Enpass and mount the vault for that member only.
- If your organization uses Enpass Hub, then the vault will be mounted on clicking the link received in the Email without asking for password.
- If your organization does not use Enpass Hub, the new member will be prompted to enter the vault password, which you must provide.
- Repeat this process for any new invitees who will have different access permissions than the first invitees.
Only provide vault passwords via secure communication methods.
