Using Enpass as the autofill default via Android’s Accessibility settings

On devices running Android 9 or later, Enpass can be enabled as the default autofill option through the Accessibility settings or the Autofill service, but for the best experience, Enpass should be enabled in both. (On devices running Android 8 or earlier, enabling Enpass in the Accessibility settings described below is all that's required.)

To authorize Enpass to autofill in browsers and apps via Android Accessibility:

  1. Go to Settings > Autofill.
  2. Check the Autofill Using Accessibility checkbox, then tap Go to Settings in the overlay that appears.
  3. In the Accessibility settings screen that appears next, find and select Enpass
  4. Turn on the Use Enpass toggle, then tap Allow to enable Enpass to autofill in your browsers and apps.

To Autofill in apps and browsers using Enpass, once it's been enabled:

  1. On the login page of an app or website...
  2. Tap the login field, then tap Autofill with Enpass in the pop-up that appears.
  3. Unlock the Enpass if prompted, then find and select the item you want to autofill from the Enpass pop-up.
