Using the Enpass keyboard to autofill logins and forms in Android
Enpass comes with its own keyboard that can be useful if your device fails to recognize username or password fields in apps or websites. If this happens, you can switch to the Enpass keyboard to access autofill features.
To enable the Enpass keyboard:
- Go to Settings > Autofill.
- Check the Enpass Keyboard checkbox.
- In the Manage Keyboards screen, toggle on Enpass, then tap OK.
To autofill information using the Enpass keyboard:
- On the login page or a text field of an app or website, tap the field you want to autofill.
- Long-press your keyboard’s space bar, or tap the small keyboard icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
- Select the Enpass keyboard from the Choose input method overlay. (This option may display “Enpass” below the name of your default language.)
- Tap on Tap to Fill at the top of the Enpass keyboard.
- Unlock Enpass if prompted, then find and select the item you want to autofill from the Enpass pop-up.
If you then want to switch back to your regular keyboard after autofilling, repeat Step 2.
