Generating one-time code in Enpass

Enpass can generate time-based one-time codes (TOTP), a highly secure form of two-factor authentication (2FA), based on secret keys provided to you by sites that use these codes for secure login.

To generate one-time codes for an Item in Enpass:

  1. In the Item Details view, click  on the menu bar.
  2. Find and click the Add Field button.
  3. Click Field Name to customize the field.
  4. Give the field a name, in the Field Type drop-down select One-time Code, then click Save.
  5. In the new field, enter the secret key provided by the site or app, and click Save.

  6. Click Save to save your changes.

To generate one-time codes for an Item in Enpass:

  1. In the Item Details view, tap Edit at the top-right corner.
  2. In the Edit view, find and tap Add Field.
  3. Give the field a name.
  4. In the Field Type, tap > to select one-time Code, then tap Done.
  5. In the new field, enter the secret key provided by the site or app, or tap the QR-code icon to scan in the key.

  6. Tap Save to save your changes.

To generate one-time codes for an Item in Enpass:

  1. In the Item Details view, tap  at the top-right corner.
  2. In the Edit view, tap ⋮ at the top-right corner, and select Add Field.
  3. Give the field a name, in the Field Type drop-down select One-time Code, then tap Save.
  4. In the new field, enter the secret key provided by the site or app, or tap the QR-code icon to scan in the key.

  5. Tap Save to save your changes.
