To generate random passwords:
- Tap Audit, and then scroll down to tap Password Generator.
- Tap the toggle key to turn off the Pronounceable.
- Move the slider to set the length of the password.
While generating random passwords, you can decide the length of the password, and the minimum number of uppercase, digits, and symbols used in the passwords. Enpass will automatically comply with a website's password requirements and restrictions.
Click More Options at the bottom of the overlay for more fine-grained control over the kinds of characters generated.
Once you generate the password, use the options mentioned below:
You can further specify the use, exclusion, and frequency of uppercase, digits, symbols and more ambiguous characters by opening More Options at the bottom of the Password Generator screen.
Turning on the Ambiguous Characters toggle allows the use of characters that can sometimes be mistaken for each other by the human eye: 0 and O, 1 and I (uppercase i) and l (lower case L).
