- Tap Audit at the bottom of the screen, then select Password Generator to create a new password for you to copy-paste into a website or app, and into the password field of the related Enpass item.

Generating a password in Enpass
The powerful, built-in password generator in Enpass creates strong, unique, random passwords with a single click or tap. You can customize password length, what kinds of characters are included, and even generate strong pronounceable passwords, and passwords that automatically comply with a website's requirements and restrictions. Enpass makes it easy to change passwords too, and keeps a history of previous passwords for you.
In the app, there are two ways to generate passwords:
- Use the Password Generator icon
on the home screen toolbar to create a new password for you to copy-paste into a website or app, and into the password field of the related Enpass item. - Use the Generate button in the Item Details view while creating or editing an Enpass item.

The Enpass browser extension can also generate passwords
The Enpass mini-window and the Enpass Autofill pop-up can also create and change passwords without having to open the app.
